The electoral college has always had me scratching my head. There are Democrats in Texas and there are Republicans in California. Yes, the four or five most populated states would have almost one third of the vote, but first of all, they already do, second, states aren't monolithic entities that care solely about themselves.
People act like California is 101% Democrat, but three million people there voted for Trump. You know how big, scary, and intimidating the Undertale fanbase looks? That's just two million people. There were more Trump voters in the supposedly 100% Democratic California than there are people who have played Undertale in the entire world.
The electorates not voting for the President-Elect would be unprecedented, but not unconstitutional. Some would even say that Donald Trump is exactly the kind of person that this system was made to stop. I doubt that the electoral college picking the more qualified candidate who got the popular vote would give anyone who wants the EC gone any ammo. If it wasn't for the EC, Trump being President would have never been on the table.
Conservatives are constantly sucking their own dicks about how they don't react to political events with violence, unlike the Satanic Socialist Communist Liberals, so if the electorates actually do vote for Clinton, we'll just have to test that claim. The last thing Conservatives need is something to be smug about, so if their fellow men go around shooting people, then they just might have to start questioning their own beliefs. Dark cloud, but the brightest silver lining you've ever seen.
Fact is, I don't hate Trump's ideas because they're not politically correct. I hate his ideas because they're retarded. Go after terrorists' families? They have a freakin' holiday dedicated to Abraham's willingness to stab his son to death because God said so! Killing their families isn't gonna do a DAMN thing. At most, it'll reinforce their beliefs that we're the bad guys and that, by process of elimination, they're the good guys.
