What are your thoughts on the election, the campaigns so far, the issues at hand, and the candidates?
In my opinion..
Leads among the Reddit populace. That sort of vaguely anti-capitalist large-government group, opposing corporations and the current status. I've no qualms with the guy - he's the closest one to me ideologically. Getting him elected would be a titanic effort of getting him past Clinton and getting America to vote a socialist into office. Easier said than done.
The default choice for the Democrats. Leading by a beautiful margin in the polls, has insane endorsements, has been in politics for decades. Her experience in a race where outsiders so far are doing very well might be her downfall. Americans don't exactly always like politicians, and there's not exactly a shortage of outsiders. Then again, she is the default and most likely choice for the Dem. nomination.
The "I-don't-like-Clinton-but-I'm-no-commie" choice. Tragic, he deserves better.
Every issue that hurts Clinton hurts Jeb twice over. 43 was not a well-received President, and Jeb really hasn't caught our eye.
Barring all else, right now, the most likely nominee. He's cool with the Party, a good debater, he's Latino...
Marco Rubio: Paris Attacks, 9/11 Part Of God’s Plan
Which can hurt him or help him.
I don't know a thing about Ted Cruz. He seems to be Rubio with less exposure.
Unelectable. I think. He shouldn't make it into office considering he's never held political office before. But he's been leading since July. He's strange, Trump.
Dr. Ben Carson
Carson is a lot like Trump, but less entertaining.
Who else is in the Republican race? Christie, Fiorina, Kasich, Pataki (who?), Santorum (he's running)..
They speak for themselves. Unlikely.
What do you all think?
