Hell, they mentioned in the actual video that they get tons of requests for KH Mickey.

I don’t see Yoda requested particularly often. And the situation with Mickey is different.

He also gets paired against Meta Knight and Gandalf as well.
My thoughts on new match.

I see Meta Knight vs Dark Pit and Gandalf vs Dumbledore way more often.

The '95% of battles is from frequently suggest' thing makes me not want Steven Universe in Death Battle this season. Because both of the most common match-ups are ridiculously blatant stomps: Crystal Gems vs. Power Puff Girls and Garnet vs. Gotenks.
Next time on Death Battle:

I mean... Yeah. There's also Steven vs Star Butterfly.

A match up I feel is more fanbase fueled than anything since neither character have much in common other than both shows being more shoujo inspired and being popular for their respective networks.

Finn the Human vs. Steven Universe, now that's a match up that makes more sense to me.

Doesn't Steven stomp that?

Depends on what you give Finn. I mean he DID learn magic powers at one point and then there was all that junk he kept winning from fighting on that dungeon train. And I'm sure there were some feats and abilities he gained after I stopped watching which was around the time he met his mother.

I know I'm listing mostly one off stuff (maybe) but Adventure Time's been around slightly longer than Steven Universe and I do think there's quite a bit of stuff to go through as far as Finn goes.

When Pinkie Pie, Justin Bieber and McGruff the Crime Dog are allowed an episode but you're permanently banned from ever being in one.

When you're one of the most important figures in video game history and your entire company has had no more characters in Death Battle than MLP has

So, my prediction is that one of these three (or all) requested match-ups will feature on Death Battle this season for reasons I will list down below:

1) Mario vs. Sonic: Grudge Match - Now I'm not sure how highly requested this battle is, but I do know Mario vs. Sonic is one of those online debates people instantly recognize, like Goku vs. Superman or Batman vs. Spiderman, and we know from my leak that it is planned to air on the show for some future date, so this season seems very likely.

2) Galactus vs. Unicron - Obviously aside from fitting together very thematically and being another of those instantly recognizable fights, I read somewhere that the animators are having a hard time working on it, otherwise it would have been made already. Can anyone confirm that? If so, this might be a great season-ending battle, and I could definitely imagine it's at least in the running if they've been able to fix the technical issues the animators are having.

1) Saitama vs. Goku - Of course we know from the list I leaked that this is planned, and most likely because they were getting bombarded by Goku vs. Superman 3, Saitama vs. Superman, and Goku vs. Saitama requests, though why they went with this one is a mystery. You could make an arguments for all sides, that they want to properly analyze Goku's new upgrades this time, or that they feel this is the safest option when the other two are even worse, or that they plan to have Goku lose so that Saitama then goes on to face Superman. Regardless, I feel this also has a strong chance of appearing on the show this season, and if past history is anything to go by, I suspect it would be episode 100, since GVS1 was episode 25 and GVS2 was episode 50.

So, what do you guys think?
