By George, no character should be considered stronger in gameplay than in canon.

Well I mean,unless they're someone like Nathan Drake.Otherwise,yeah pretty much.

Welllll now that I think of it, other exceptions are in games that have an emphasis on competitive multiplayer, or provide the player with a large roster of characters, such as Pokémon or any fighting game ever.

Nothing to see here, please ignore.
Spoiler
The thunderbolt's base is in Colorado:

Tree is 19.6977 pixels and 60 feet or 18.288m
Explosion diameter is: 808 pixels meaning it's radius is 404 pixels or: 375.87m
r_blast = Y^0.33 * constant_bl
5000 tons = 476m R air blast, 100% fatalities
375.87/476= 0.789642857
y^0.33=0.789642857
y=0.48886
y*5000= 2.4 Kilotons of TNT

Assuming window = 1.5 meters
618 / 8 = 77.25
77.25 * 1.5 = 115.875
115.875 / 2 = 57.9375
57.9375 meters for radius of explosion
r_thermal = Y^0.41 * constant_th
r_blast = Y^0.33 * constant_bl
5000 tons = 476m R air blast, 100% fatalities
57.9375/476= 0.121717437
low end:
y^0.33= 0.121717437
Yy= 1.691771928*10^-3
E= Yx 5000
E= 8.4 tons of tnt
High end:
y^0.41=0.121717437
y= 5.876965*10^-3
E=y*5000
E= 29.4 Tons of TNT

How much energy would be required to flood a whole island? A good 15 feet of water being added to the normal sea level in this case. Is that quantifiable?

Depends on the size of the island and how quickly it flooded.

Alright. Since I don't exactly know that, how about an area around 11250 cubic feet and a flood rate of a couple of minutes at the most?

I only ask because of it's a legitimate off-screen feat in Super Mario Sunshine. Apparently sudden heavy record-breaking rainfall pours down due to Corona Mountain? I judged the timeframe based off of the D.E.B.S. report as I assume it didn't take a whole hour since it happens during your last Shadow Mario mission which normally takes a few minutes at most.

There could be quite a few ways to calc it like the explosion yield of the volcano scaling to Bowser since he's just bathing inside of it the whole game or if you believe there's some magic involved given Shadow Mario looks upon it which would be a weird cutscene to show if he hadn't of had something to do with it and the fact that there's clearly no water or ice around the thing for there to even be any kind of precipitation as a result PLUS it clearly resembles a dormant volcano as the top is fully sealed off.

Except there's no indication that Bowser did it.You bitch about the blood moon but then push for a feat that has even less going for it?Seriously?

Given how little Bowser had to gain from flooding the place, I don't think he had anything to do with it.

I didn't even say that? I mentioned Jr. since there's already an instance where he looks to kind of manipulate water to some extent (before the ground opens up in the pool). I only mentioned Bowser because he's inside the mountain when it supposedly floods the Plaza.

It's more for durability than anything. Though, "sudden waterfall-like deluge of water" is mighty suspicious as it only happens once and somehow drains after you defeat both "bad" royal pains whilst saving the "good" royal pain in canon as you're supposed to follow Shadow Mario inside the mountain.

Might as well give sunshine a break as it has very little feats going for it other than FTE Shadow Mario and city block sized dimensions whose origins are up for debate.
