If you're new to this and wondering what the hell I'm talking about, let me explain. Every once in awhile, I hold a massive signature contest with contestants from across many different forums. People from each forum vote for their favorites and I'll announce the winners at the end of it all. It's a chance to test your skills and styles among others, and since it's popular vote, I can enter as well (as I usually do). It's a for fun sort of thing, and I always get a blast out of doing it.

Rules and Information

- To submit a sig, just post your entry or entries in the contest thread. Do not PM me, I'd rather not have to deal with that.

- You can submit one sig in each category. If you want to switch one out, just tell me.

- Max height is 250px and max width is 650px. HOWEVER, If you go over 200px high, the max width becomes 500px. On the same note, if you go past 600px wide, the max height becomes 200px. This is to allow long but thin sigs and tall but short sigs. No billboards, they will not be accepted.

- I will be accepting old sigs to promote contest activity, just not sigs already entered in past cross forum sig contests.

- I will accept entries until October 31st. On November 1st, voting will begin and I will make voting threads on each site.

- Voting will last until Novenber 7th (the last day to vote). After that, I will be announcing the winners in the voting threads on November 8st. All sites will be casting their votes.

- SUBMIT ONLY YOUR OWN WORK. No slapping your name on sigs made by other people.

Contest Categories

Scary - A sig with the goal of scaring or at least has horror elements in it. I'll allow comedic horror style sigs.

Reds, Yellows and Browns - A sig using only shades of red, yellow and brown, to fit the season colors.

Favorite - A sig based around your favorite something. Food, games, movies, hair color, anything goes as long as you have it as your favorite.

Death - A sig dealing with the subject of death. A memorial, something abstract, whatever you feel gets the subject across best.

Movement - Sigs that move, like gifs. This is always its own group because a lot of voters tend to vote for moving sigs just because they move, so said sigs can only be allowed here. There is no restriction otherwise beyond the basic rules.

Change - A sig showing some sort of meaningful change.

Companionship - A sig dealing with some sort of friendship or relationship, ultimately needs to be positive.

After browsing some monster art for Ocarina of Time, I gotta say that's one scary game.

Anyways, I think I might have gone slightly overboard with all kinds of effects with this one but I'm still liking what I got here. It ended up perhaps a tad too wide but meh, it'll do.

Anyways, I knew what I wanted from this right from the start. I wanted to make the lower part more darker and more black or grey at first, but that would have left the brown out, so I decided to go with that instead.

Don't really have any that fit the categories already made, so I'll get working on some entries soon.
