The "Biggest News in ScrewAttack History"!

What does this mean? The long short of it is that ScrewAttack is now owned by Fullscreen. No, nothing is going to change. No one is getting fired, nothing is changing it is going to be 'business as usual'.

The ScrewAttack Network is now more akin to the likes of Polaris and Machinima in that it will be a central hub for more diverse gaming video content.

I'm thinking this is the same kind of deal as when Tencent bought out Riot Games, the creators of League of Legends. The new parent company gets a share of the profit, but interferes as little as possible. In this case, it seems like Screwattack is getting an even better deal by being the face of a HUGE network. The publicity from that alone is amazing.

So they've joined the ranks of Polaris and Machinima.

That's cool.

But for real, this seems pretty cool, maybe now I'll visit the main site more than once a year on accident. And I actually liked the video a lot, funny stuff.

This is a great move. This means more money for the site, which, in turn, leads to bigger and better programming and a more fluid site overall. Yes, this includes the forums.

Watching the Q&A on this whole ordeal, and now I'm super stoked about how my hometown heroes are becoming now. I feel like ScrewAttack might become as big as IGN in the coming years.
