This is sort of a random discussion I've thought of after seeing prototypes and finishing hardware of old-school Nintendo platforms like the nes or n64 in the form of a handheld device. I've actually seen one of these things in action at Retropalooza.

What console would you like to see become a handheld and, if possible, how would you like it to be designed? For all we know, one of these things may appear on amazon...

If Master Race is out of question, then nothing can beat PS2

I feel like we are coming to the point that all of this can be possible and eventually, there will be past gen or current gen handheld emulators. You can buy a snes handheld on amazon.

I would like to see something like the Turbo Express, but more portable. I know it can be done because of the size of the cards for the TurboGrafx-16.

I believe it can! Someone has actually built an N64 handheld, though I don't know when or if we can see one on sale.

I have seen a few of those. They are ridiculously huge.

Even this one!

A Virtual Boy. It's portable in the sense that you don't need a TV or AC adapter to play, however, it's not a handheld game console. Pretty much have it be a Game Boy that plays VB games or even better, have Virtual Boy games be released on either the 3DS or Wii U eShop with the option to play the games in either grey-scale or red-scale.
