I still remember the day I got my very first handheld. My dad took me to Wal Mart (for convenience lol) and I got a red Game Boy Pocket with Pokemon Red Version. Got home and started playing it right away. The game started, I named my character Ash (I was a huge fan of the anime), chose Charmander as my first ever Pokemon and I spent the next two years of my life playing that game! And I have no regrets!

My first was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, but the first handheld game I got that's *good* is Pokémon Fire Red.

Do Tiger Electronic handhelds count? If so, I had a Disney Pocahontas one. For handheld consoles, my first was Pokemon Red and Blue (I got both at the same time).

Tetris for the original Game Boy. Little did my parents know that this would ignite a spark and passion for video games. :)

My first handheld game was Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins on the original Game Boy. Although I never beat the game on my original copy... I later beat it on a different copy I bought when I got my Game Boy Color. Some jerk stole my original game boy back then and all my games, so i had to start my collection all over again. That sucked.

The Game Boy Advance was my first handheld system with Mario Kart: Super Circuit and Spongebob SuperSponge. With my GBA I played my two older sister's Game Boy games like Wario Land and Pokemon Blue.

Super Mario Land on the original white brick Gameboy.

AAaaaa good times :)

Not shortly after I got Donkey Kong Land 3 which had a yellow cartridge.
And then my holy grail of my young mobile gaming. Pokemon Red *angelic sounds*

My sister got Pokemon Blue at the same time. Can't believe how many hours we spent battling, trading and just going to the game together.

It was either the Amazing Spiderman or Super Mario Land I can't remember...

My Dad got it for me before he went on a business trip to Australia. Needless to say it made my mom's job a lot easier

Pokemon Gold Version-

Still can't remember where that old thing is. If I ever find that thing I'm getting so much of my childhood back.
