Alright, so I live in Israel, yet I got my 3DS in the US. That means that I get the American e-Shop, and today, when I purchased some games, I had to input a zipcode. So what did I do? I put a Delaware zipcode, 19706, and got tax free games! So, for everyone with a US 3DS, I suggest you do the same :P

Thanks metaking64x for the sig!

I've never had taxes on a digital download. I don't think the U.S. taxes them.

Not Texas.

I swear Craig mentioned it one time.
I found this on Wikipedia
Ten states (which were grandfathered under the Internet Tax Freedom Act as part of a political compromise) are allowed to provide for some manner of taxation on ISP charges. The ten states are Hawaii, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington & Wisconsin.

I'm from Texas. Most of us who say we've never been Taxed have probably bought their content via "points." Its the purchase of the points themselves that get taxed, not the games that you pay for with points. That's one of the many reasons virtual currency is stupid.
