Great list. Two more ideas for at the con itself:

15. Don't over book yourself. Leave some space in your con schedule to be spontaneous.

16. Try something new. Cons are a great opportunity to branch out a bit and see what else is out there.

p.s. I couldn't help but notice that under "Checking out and leaving" you didn't remind the chaperons to take their children with them when they leave! :D

Also, don't be a douche over games and such. Had a report last year concerning some guy flipping shit over Super Smash Bros. I'll be around, and I don't mind grabbing badges and tossing people out. Sean would -- and will -- do the same.

If there's a Japanese developer attending SGC like Inafune from last year, don't ask them if they speak English because that can be viewed as racist.
