Do you get bored at sports games? I have to go to a hockey game tomorrow night with my husband and two children. It's a work thing for him so we have to go. None of us really want to. I especially don't enjoy watching sports, plus I will have my two children with me who I know will be bored. If you can relate to this situation, what advice do you have for me to make this less painful maybe even fun?

I can't imagine how anyone could get bored at a live sports event, especially with a sport as quick and entertainig as hockey. I understand getting irritated if there are overly drunk or too fanatic fans, but bored? My suggestion is to actually try to get in the mood, try to understand something about the game and have fun, because if you do that, I'm sure the time passes a lot quicker than if you try to fight against everything.

There always seems to be some other things to do at major sports events, like interactive areas, things to do between innings/periods/quarters/half time, and (in my case) drink expensive-ass beer! 8-)

Being at sports events is about the energy. I'm sure you'll get pumped when you get there, even if you don't like it that much. And as the others say: get them beers!
